Why these eight questions
AI assistants can only recommend a business they can find, understand and feel confident about. These eight questions cover the plain, checkable basics behind that: whether your services and areas are written down, whether your details agree everywhere, whether recent reviews describe your work, and whether anyone else describes you. They're a short version of the 11-point self-audit in our guide to why competitors show up.
What the score can't tell you
The score is based only on your answers. It can't see your website, and it doesn't ask ChatGPT or Gemini anything. A business can score 16 and still not be named, because assistants also weigh other businesses and sources nobody outside the AI companies can see. And a low score doesn't mean you're never named. Treat it as a to-do list, then check the real answers with the free check.
Questions people ask
Is this score a measurement of my AI ranking?
No. It's a rough self-check of the basics that make a business easier to recommend, based only on your own answers. It doesn't ask any AI assistant anything. The free check does that.
How is the score worked out?
Each Yes scores 2, each Partly or not sure scores 1, and each No scores 0, out of 16. 13 or more is green, 7 to 12 is amber, 6 or less is red. That's all; there's no hidden weighting.
Do you store my answers?
No. Your answers stay in your browser and disappear when you leave the page. We only count that the quiz was started, never what you answered.
